Not because you lack discipline. Because weight loss is not a willpower problem, it's a metabolic one.
Hormonal imbalance, insulin resistance, cardiovascular factors, and years of physiological adaptation don't respond to another diet. They respond to clinical intervention.

You've done everything right. It still hasn't worked.

Built to Lose It. Designed to Keep It Off.

Medical weight loss at Out of Office is a structured, clinically supervised program designed to address the root causes of weight gain, not just the number on the scale.

Rebecca Waggoner, DNP, ARNP brings over 30 years of clinical experience and a cardiology background to every program — evaluating hormonal imbalance, insulin resistance, and cardiovascular risk factors before recommending anything.

GLP-1 medications are powerful. They are not magic. Sustainable results require lifestyle structure built in from day one, and a provider who stays with you until you're there.
The goal is never just losing the weight. It's keeping it off.

Reduced cardiovascular risk factors

Improved energy, sleep, and mood

Hormonal and metabolic balance

Long-term program — not a quick fix

Integrated support from a provider who knows your full health picture

Benefits of Medical Weight Loss

Not every body responds to weight loss the same way, and that's exactly why this step exists. Every patient starts with a comprehensive medical consultation. Rebecca reviews your health history, goals, and current medications, because the wrong protocol can do more harm than good.

1 | Consultation

The Process

Lab work is required within the last 6 months. If you don't have it, we'll order it. Once we have the full picture, Rebecca builds your protocol, medication, dosage, and a check-in schedule designed around how much support you want.

2 | labs + medication

You're not handed a prescription and wished luck. Rebecca monitors your response, adjusts dosage as needed, and stays in your corner through the whole process, side effects, plateaus, and all.

3 | ongoing management

frequently asked questions

What's the difference between semaglutide and tirzepatide?

Semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy) targets one hormone receptor to suppress appetite and regulate blood sugar. Tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound) targets two. Rebecca will recommend the right option based on your health history and goals.

frequently asked questions

Will GLP-1 medications affect my bone density?

Rapid weight loss can lead to muscle and bone loss if lifestyle isn't addressed. If someone told you GLP-1s work without any lifestyle changes — run. Rebecca prioritizes strength training and protein intake from day one because protecting muscle mass is just as important as losing fat.

frequently asked questions

How much weight can I expect to lose?

Results vary based on your starting point, compliance, and program design. Patients on GLP-1 therapy typically lose 10–20% of body weight over 6–12 months when combined with lifestyle support. Rebecca will set realistic, personalized expectations at your consultation.

Can weight loss be combined with hormone therapy or peptides?

Yes — and often, it should be. Hormonal imbalance is frequently a factor in weight resistance. Rebecca often integrates these programs for compounded results.

frequently asked questions

How do I get started with medical weight loss?

Book a weight loss consultation with our nurse practitioner, available in office or via telehealth. She can prescribe throughout Texas and Washington state. She'll review your health history, labs, and goals and build a protocol specific to you. Everything starts with that first appointment.

What is Ozempic face and will it happen to me?

Ozempic face refers to the gaunt, aged appearance that can result from losing weight too quickly. It's not the medication itself — it's the rate of loss and the lack of support around it. Rebecca's conservative dosing approach and focus on maintaining muscle mass significantly reduces this risk. Many patients combine their weight loss program with filler and Sculptra to restore volume and keep you looking like yourself throughout the process.

Nervous about starting? Frustrated it hasn't worked yet? Stuck on a plateau? You're in the right place. Book your consultation with Rebecca Waggoner, DNP, ARNP and let's figure out what your body actually needs.
